Chronon Time Travelling Debugger wins EclipseCon 2011 new product showcase

Santa Clara, CA (Business Wire) March 24.2011 – Chronon Systems, makers of Chronon, the Time Traveling Debugger, were announced as winners of the new product showcase at EclipseCon 2011. EclipseCon is the largest Eclipse conference and community gathering of the year for Eclipse members, users and sponsors. The new product showcase award is awarded to the hottest Eclipse-based product built or released in the last year. Over 20 great new products were under consideration, but the community chose Chronon. Thank you to all that voted!

“We are super excited to get this award from the Eclipse community”, remarked Chronon Systems CTO Prashant Deva, “It is validation of many year’s hard work. Eclipse provided us a great platform to build our unique technology which allows java developers to record and powerfully debug their applications. We plan on releasing Chronon in the next few weeks and couldn’t of imagined this technology coming to fruition without both the community support we received and overall maturity of the Eclipse platform. Chronon Systems recently also joined as Eclipse Solutions Members, cementing our belief that Eclipse is the most vibrant Java development community in the market. “

Announced also at EclipseCon, Chronon Systems released the Beta 2 build of Chronon. If you are a java developer that uses Eclipse and you have not yet tried “time travel”, please install our free beta build and try Chronon for debugging and troubleshooting your java application.
